Oregon & SW Washington
The Portland office of Hawkeye Security is the headquarters of our Patrol, Alarm Response, and On-Site Officers assigned throughout the Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington Metropolitan Areas.
The Portland office has been the recipient for nine years running (2013-2023) of the prestigious Best of Portland award in the Security Guard Service category.
Our patrol and on-site officers currently serve clients in the Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington Counties in Oregon and Clark County in Washington.
All Oregon officers receive their certification from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST), which mandates required training and an FBI background check. However, Hawkeye Security believes that this minimum amount of training is not enough to provide the superior level of service that our clients have come to expect. To that end, our officers complete over 100 hours of additional training through the Hawkeye Security proprietary training academy as well as annual recurrent training.

Washington
The Seattle office of Hawkeye Security is the headquarters to Patrol, Alarm Response, and On-Site Officers assigned throughout the Seattle-Tacoma area. A satellite office also operates in the Pasco, Tri-Cities area to service clients in those areas.
All Officers working in Washington obtain Washington Security Certification through the Washington Department of Licensing, which mandates required training and an FBI background check. However, Hawkeye Security believes that this minimum amount of training is not enough to provide the superior level of service that our clients have come to expect. To that end, Hawkeye Security provided officers complete over 100 hours of additional training through the Hawkeye Security proprietary training academy as well as annual recurrent training.

All Officers working in Nevada obtain Nevada Security Certification through the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board. However, Hawkeye Security believes that this minimum amount of training is not enough to provide the superior level of service that our clients have come to expect. To that end, our Hawkeye Security provided officers complete over 100 hours of additional training through the Hawkeye Security proprietary training academy as well as annual recurrent training.

All Officers working in California obtain California Security Certification through the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services. However, Hawkeye Security believes that this minimum amount of training is not enough to provide the superior level of service that our clients have come to expect. To that end, Hawkeye Security provided officers complete over 100 hours of additional training through the Hawkeye Security proprietary training academy as well as annual recurrent training.

Idaho
The Boise, Idaho office of Hawkeye Security is the headquarters to Patrol, Alarm Response, and On-Site Officers assigned throughout the greater Boise area.
While the State of Idaho does not have a formal process for Officers to be certified, including training requirements, the City of Boise has a limited licensing process to complete.
Hawkeye Security conducts its in-house proprietary academy for all Hawkeye Security provided Officers in Idaho which includes over 100 hours of classroom and practical training. In addition, a comprehensive FBI background check is required of all officers.

However, Hawkeye Security believes that this minimum amount of training is not enough to provide the superior level of service that our clients have come to expect. To that end, Hawkeye Security provided officers complete over 100 hours of additional training through the Hawkeye Security proprietary training academy as well as annual recurrent training.

Texas

All Officers working in Texas obtain either a Commissioned or Non-Commissioned Security Officer’s License through the Texas Department of Public Safety (depending on where the officer is assigned), which mandates a 30-hour training curriculum and an FBI background check. However, Hawkeye Security believes that this minimum amount of training is not enough to provide the superior level of service that our clients have come to expect. To that end, Hawkeye Security provided officers complete over 100 hours of additional training through the Hawkeye Security proprietary training academy as well as annual recurrent training.
